Arts Council England Funding. Research and Development

I’m incredibly happy to announce that I have been funded by Arts Council England to complete my Stone x Glass project. In the coming months I will be conducting R&D with working both materials in hot state, to create a new body of highly experimental work. I will be working closely with accredited stone carver Simon Smith, as well as world renowned glass blower James Devereaux to bring this new body of work to life.

This builds on my previous research with Stone x Glass, developing my pieces i began on Viviana Stroede Stone x Glass course at Berlin Glass and School of Sculpture that was funded by the Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung foundation. With this material research in place I am now able to refine the technical aspects to create a new body of work utilising both stone and glass in a hot state.
